Kenya: Elgeyo Marakwet Celebrates, S.sudan Pupil Tops in Uasin Gishu County

Teachers, leaders and the public in Elgeyo Marakwet County are celebrating good KCPE results which they have attributed to hard work among teachers in the region.

The County emerged second best in the country with a Mean Score of 271 after Kirinyaga and Governor for the area Alex Tolgos says teachers and candidates who sat for the exams were dedicated more than ever before.

In Uasin Gishu a pupil from South Sudan Chol Daniel Deng caused surprise after emerging top in the county. Deng sat for the exams at Alpha Junior Academy and got 433 max.
