Maputo — Maputo saw the New Year in calmly, with a smaller number of hospital admissions than on New Year's Eve 2012.
The director of the emergency services at Maputo Central Hospital, Raul Cossa, told reporters on Wednesday that, during the New Year festivities, the emergency services had treated 273 cases - which was 109 less than in 2012.
