Kenya: Mob Kills Coffee Thief

A 26 years man suspected to be a coffee thief was on New Year 's Eve lynched by irate residents of Kiarango Village in Embu West district. Antony Munene was allegedly caught red handed by the residents as he stole the coffee cherries from one the homes while the residents were busy ushering in new year.

Area assistant chief Joshua Kamomgo confirmed the incident noting that the deceased was apprehended by the irk residents as he was picking the coffee in farm.
