Kenya: Security Heightened After Diani Grenade Attack

Police have beefed security following a grenade attack in a night club in Diani, Ukunda that left at least 10 people wounded.

Police said the assailants hurled a grenade into a popular club in Ukunda at 3am before they fled using a motorbike.

The injured were rushed to Msambweni general hospital. Police said although no one had claimed responsibility for the attack, they suspect the assailants could be linked to the al-Shabab.
