Nigeria and Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel and Ivorian duo of Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure were yesterday announced by Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the top three nominees for the 2013 African Footballer of the year Award.
Two-time African Player of the year, Didier Drogba plays for Turkish Club, Galatasaray, while his fellow country man and defending champion, Yaya Toure plies his trade with Manchester City FC of London.
