Kenya: Pyrethrum Farmers Appeal for Sh20 Million for Seeds

The Pyrethrum Growers Association has appealed to the Nakuru county government to disburse Sh20 million to buy seedlings. PGA secretary general Joshua Odede said the incentive will encourage farmers to increase their crops acreage.

Speaking on the phone yesterday, he said farmers buy seedlings from selected farmers. John Omweri, a pyrethrum farmer at Muchorwe in Kuresoi North said before, he used to earn Sh150,000 every month from his 25-acre plot. He was speaking at his farm yesterday.
