Kenya: Transport Crisis in Eldoret, Western Kenya, Fares Doubled

Fares on most routes in Eldoret and other parts of western Kenya have been hiked as travelers got stranded due to shortage of matatus and buses. Matatu shuttles have doubled fares on most routes with travelers paying 1,500 from Eldoret to Nairobi which is an increase from the usual 800 shillings.
