Nigeria, Others Step Up Fight Against Terrorists in Somalia

As it assumed duty as a non-permanent member of the United Nations (UN) Security Council in New York, Nigeria has teamed up with the world's body organ to step up the fight against threats that Al-Shabaab, the major terrorist group, poses to stability in Somalia.

Nigeria's move came 48 hours after the deadly bomb attacks carried out in Mogadishu by the terrorist organisation.
