Eritrea: Ginda Sub-Zone - Various Development Programs Implemented At a Total Expenditure of Around 30 Million Nakfa

Ginda — The Administration of Ginda sub-zone indicated that various development programs have been implemented at a total expenditure of around 30 million Nakfa targeting the domains of infrastructure and soil and water conservation, as well as backing families of martyrs and needy nationals.

Mr. Tewolde Tesfazgi, Head of administration and finance in the Administration, stated that community input has become significant in promoting environmental hygiene and wood enclosure management, and that such initiative is expected to register further impact in the future, including in other spheres.

The Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, Mr. Omar Yahiya, explained that some of the achievements pertain to the mapping out of master plans for the Administrative areas of Metkel-Abet and Shebah. He further urged communities and Area administrators to step up collaboration with a view to ensuring the realization of the cherished development goals.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding several issues.
