Kenya: KENHA On the Spot for Neglecting Teso Road

THE Kenya National Highways Authority has been put on the spot for neglecting a portion of Teso North Road. Two county representatives accused KeNHA of favouritism during the start of maintenance works on the 19km Malakisi-Lwakhakha road on Saturday.

The commissioning of the road was done by county roads and infrastructure executive, Gregory Odeke, with Kokoyo Ltd from Eldoret as contractors. Busia deputy speaker Moses Ote said the last time a satisfactory job was done on the road was in 1983.
