Kenya: Property Destroyed in Juja Fire

PROPERTY of unknown value was reduced to ashes when an eight-roomed housing plot in Witeithie estate, Juja caught fire yesterday morning.

Two tenants said the fire began in one of the rooms. Njoki Wainaina said she was woken up by crackling iron sheets and when she saw a huge fire, she woke her husband Paul Muturi up and they ran out of the plot with their two children.
