Kenya: Jirongo Faults State Over Rail Line
By Nicholas Wamalwa, 6 January 2014
Federal Party leader Cyrus Jirongo has faulted the government for contracting China Roads to construct railway track. Speaking in Kitale on Friday, Jirongo said the government should have instead hired China Railways.
"The company has no experience. Kenya Railways will be the first one to be built by the company. I wonder why China Railways was not contracted," Jirongo said.
