Tunisia: Magistrates to Go On Unlimited Strike

Tunis — All magistrates will observe an unlimited strike as of the day the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) starts discussing the chapter of the draft Constitution on the judiciary power, Tunisian Magistrates Union Chairwoman Raoudha Labidi announced to the media on Monday.
Labidi demanded that modifications will be brought to this chapter, notably regarding the independence of public prosecutor and the composition of the Higher Magistracy Council, describing the chapter in question as "disastrous"...
