Nigeria: Dubri Oil Loses 200 Barrel of Oil Daily to Spill

Dubril Oil Company Limited Monday lamented the loss of 200 barrels of crude oil per day out of its daily production of 340 barrels, following a rupture on one of its pipelines at Ughoton in Edo State which it said led to a shut-in of the oil well.

The company's Community Relations Officer, Mr. Clement Seweje, who disclosed this in Benin City at a press conference, explained that the rupture which resulted in oil spill of less than one barrel, occurred on December 28, 2013, along the Udo-Ughoton-Gelegele Road in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the state.
