Nigeria: Woman Did Not Die in My Office - Aliyu

Minna — Niger State Governor Dr. Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu yesterday denied media reports that a woman identified as Hajiya Bilkisu Mahmoud died in his office, saying the woman died in the General Hospital, Minna and not in his office.

It was reported yesterday in the national dailies that a woman, named Bilkisu Mohmoud who visited the state governor at the Government House slumped and died shortly after she was ushered into the governor's office. The governor denied the report yesterday while inaugurating the board of directors of the Niger Geographic Information Service (NIGIS) in Minna.
