Kenya: Sparki Youth Trounce Sarigoi to Lift Sila Cup in Mombasa

Sparki Youth beat Sarigoi Youth 2-1 in the final match to win Mohammed Mbarak Memorial Sila Cup at Ronald Ngala primary school ground. Michael Mzungu (13th minute) and Makame Salim (38th minute) scored for the winners while Maqbul Mohamed pulled one back for Sarigoi's in the 86th minute. Winners pocketed 30,000 while runners-up took home Sh20,000. Both teams also received trophies, medals and uniforms.

In his speech during the prize giving ceremony, the sponsor and former FKF vice chairman Twaha Mbarak said he is ready to work with the current FKF administration to develop football talents in the coast region and beyond.
