Kenya: New Roads in Lake Nakuru Park to Escape Flooding
The management of Lake Nakuru National Park has completed the construction of new roads in the park, Kenya Wildlife Service has announced. The park has been facing flooding challenges for the last one year after water levels in Lake Nakuru rose and submerged roads and other facilities that were previously been used by visitors to the park.
In a statement issued through KWS communication office on Tuesday, the agency noted that the park continued to remain open to the public, fully operational and accessible by road despite flooding challenges.
