WITH just a few hours to spare, the Roads Contractor Company (RCC) yesterday rushed to sign an agreement with the Public Service Union of Namibia (PSUN), putting an end to what could have been a countrywide strike.
The union issued a notice on Monday, stating that 300 workers had agreed to strike yesterday should RCC fail to meet their demands. The workers' demands included a 10% salary increment proposed by the union late last year.
