Nigeria: Judge Withdraws From Ajudua's Trial

Attempt by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to prosecute alleged fraud kingpin, Fred Ajudua for allegedly defrauding two Dutchmen, Remy Cina and Pierre Vijgen, of US$1.69m has suffered a setback.

The trial judge, Justice Olubunmi Oyewole of a Lagos High Court, Igbosere, has withdrawn from the case and returned the file to the head judge of Lagos Division, Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade.
