Angola: Telecommunications Minister Lays Cornerstone for Building Cazenga Media Library

The first stone for the construction of the Media Library in Cazenga municipality in Luanda was laid on Thursday by the Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology, José Carvalho da Rocha.

The structure, to occupy an area of 2.600 square metres, will comprise leisure spaces, garden, rooms for reading and studying with capacity for 3000 books, space for internet, audiovisual, cinema and video games, among others.

The construction works are under the responsibility of an Angolan company and will last 13 months.

On the occasion, minister José Carvalho da Rocha said that it is being accomplished a guideline of the Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos, for the construction of this infrastructure that will serve the local citizens of Cazenga.

José Carvalho da Rocha said that the act is symbolic, but soon people will make use of the entertainment and knowledge space in Cazenga.
