Angola: 18th African Power Utilities Congress to Be Launched On Friday in Luanda

Luanda — The Association of Power Utilities of Africa (APUA) will launch on Friday in one of the hotels of Luanda the 18th Congress of the organization.

According to a press note that reached Angop on Thursday, the 18th Congress will take place on 2-5 June in Luanda this year, under the motto "Energetic Mix Africa: Challenges and Perspectives".

The Congress will gather more than 500 participants and expects that APUA may create opportunities of experiences sharing, ideas and business opportunities for the whole energetic sector in Africa.

Angola occupies the vice-presidency of APUA and in June 2014 will chair this African organisation in its 18th congress.
