There are indications that the former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, and other Nigerians in prison in the United Kingdom will soon be transferred to Nigeria to complete their jail terms. This followed an agreement signed yesterday between the federal government and the UK government.
The British government has also promised to give the country one million pounds (about N280 million) to assist in the comprehensive reformation of Nigerian prisons for the comfort of the inmates.
