Kenya: Rep to Pay Fees for Bright Bunyala Pupils

Bunyala North ward representative Fred Musirimba has set aside Sh3million from the area's development kitty to pay school fees for 50 bright and needy pupils.

Speaking to the press in Bunyala, Busia county yesterday, Musirimba said the decision was reached by the members of the board after the students from fourteen public primary schools scored good marks in last year's KCPE examination.

He however expressed displeasure with a section of parents from Bunyala, who are attacking and blocking head teachers from entering their schools over claims that they have failed to produce good results.
