Gambia: Another New Recruitment for Gamtel Ahead of CAF Tourney

Tapha Manneh Gamtel had four other fresh recruitments added to its squad, Foroyaa Sport can reveal. The new players are youth stars from the feeder club fast-tracked into the A squad of the Telecommunication side ahead of the start of the CAF Confederation Cup. The players namely; Baboucarr Marong, Mathew Manneh and Bakary Jarjue who have impressed the Gamtel coach are expected to play a role in the club, push to reach group stages of CAF's second most prestigious competition. Gamtel qualified to the competition after scooping the FA Cup - a title they hold for a record fourth time.

The new batch of promoted players add fire power to Gamtel's front line with the signing of Amadou Baldeh from Bakau United considered a bolstering effect. Gamtel face Sierra Leone Armed Forces and set their sight on reaching the group stage proper, but have first-hand task of beating Steve Biko in the Super Cup.
