Egypt: Finance Minister - New System to Ensure Inflow of Economic Institutions' Surpluses

Minister of Finance Ahmed Galal asserted that a new permanent system should be developed to ensure the inflow of the surpluses of the economic institutions and public companies to the Ministry of Finance, which plays a pivotal role in dealing with Egypt's economic problems topped by the slowness of development.

Those remarks came during Galal's meeting with senior officials in the finance ministry.

Galal also stressed the importance of paying attention to transparency and commitment to objective standards in the ministry's works.
