Angola: President Stresses Diplomacy for Respect of Other States

The President of the Republic , José Eduardo dos Santos , assured on Friday in Luanda that the Angolan diplomacy will guiding its actions and interventions in the strict respect of the sovereignty of other states , equality of law and not interference in internal affairs.

For this purpose, he added, it will be respect and to also comply with the requirements of international conventions on diplomatic and consular relations.

José Eduardo dos Santos, who was speaking during the new year greetings ceremonies to the diplomatic corps, held in the Main Hall of the Presidential Palace, said that in accordance with the principle of reciprocity, he counts with the collaboration of diplomatic agents in this regard.

"I hope you continue to enjoy the friendship and hospitality of the Angolan people and work towards strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation between Angolayou're your respective countries, with reciprocal benefits," said José Eduardo dos Santos .
