Egypt: Army Spokesman - Four Terrorists Carrying Explosive Belt Arrested

Elements from the second field army in Egypt's Ismailia arrested four "terrorists" with arms and an explosive belt on them, an army spokesman said.

There was fire exchange with the terrorists, who were driving a private vehicle, the spokesman said on his Facebook page.

One of the four was injured in the right leg during the shooting, he added.

The arrestees are Ahmed Atteya Shehata, Aweid Salama Abed, Tarek Hamdeen Salman, and al-Sayed Abdel Moneim al-Sayed.

The armed forces and the police have jointly launched crackdowns in Sinai and Canal cities to arrest extremists in the area.
