Kenya: University Unions Want Vice Chancellors Jailed

WORKERS in public universities are demanding immediate investigations and prosecution of top university vice chancellors for allegedly diverting their cash to other uses.

Through the Universities Academic Staff Union and The Kenya Universities Union, the workers accused the vice chancellors and other top managers from 31 universities' of diverting over Sh3.9 billion of the Sh7.9 billion awarded to them (the workers) in September 2012.
