Egypt: 169 MB Supporters With Weapons Arrested in Friday Marches

The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 169 MB supporters during marches on Friday 10/01/2014.

Security troops managed to disperse MB supporters' marches arresting 25 suspects some of them were carrying Molotov Cocktails. Security fired tear gas bombs at the MB elements who belted stones against the troops and set tires on fire.

In Giza, MB elements demonstrated in streets and attempted to make riots in Omraneya and Talbeya districts. Security troops resisted these mobs, arrested 44 of them and referred them to the prosecution.

In Alexandria, one person was killed during clashes between demonstrators and security forces. Troops arrested one person belonging to the MB who was opening fire haphazardly. Troops arrested 25 people and referred them to the prosecution.
