Kenya: CCK to Meet With Telecom Operators Over Quality of Services

The Communications Commission of Kenya will tomorrow meet the four operators to discuss various issues including the recently released Quality of Service report that saw all MNOs fail to comply.

In the past year, various compliance percentages were enhanced by CCK in consideration of expected increased investment and improvement in services by the operators. Five of the eight parameters were enhanced including completed calls from 90 - 95 per cent; call block rate from 10 to 5 per cent; call set up success rate from 90 to 95 per cent as well as handover success rate (from 80 to 85 per cent) and speech quality among others.
