President Goodluck Jonathan Monday assured Nigerians that his administration would not be distracted from successfully completing priority projects and programmes. He equally promised that his government would ensure free and fair elections in 2015.
The president disclosed this in his Eid-el-Maulud message to Muslims who are celebrating the birth of Prophet Mohammed today. In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, Jonathan said only free, fair and credible elections could make democracy in Nigeria truly meaningful and useful as a vehicle for development and progress.
