Nigeria: Power Transmission - Over 139 System Collapses Recorded in Five Years

More than 139 cases of system collapse have been experienced in the nation's power sector within five years, records reveal.

Statistics earlier obtained from the National Control Centre (NCC) in Osogbo, Osun State, revealed that there was 124 cases of system collapse between 2009 and 2012, most of which were total collapse, with less cases of partial collapse.
