Kenya: Insemination Units for Dairy

Kiru MCA Maina Kimani yesterday said artificial insemination units will be established in Mahioya subcounty to promote dairy farming. Speaking at Kiambuthia village in Mathioya during the burial of former Murang'a town Environment boss Andrew Kimani Njeru, Kimani said dairy farmers will get artificial insemination services at an affordable fee. He said farmers will pay Sh500 per insemination down from the current fee of Sh,000.
