Zimbabwe: Junior Players Qualify for AJC Finals

TENNIS coach Miracle Matanga has hailed the junior players who recently took part in the African Junior Championships Zonal after seven qualified for the finals to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, between March and April. The zonal competition, which was catering for the Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16, was held in Gaborone, Botswana, with 10 countries taking part - Angola, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the hosts.

It was the qualifier for the Under-14 and Under-16 AJC and the top seven from the two age-groups progressed to the main event.
