Dwellers in Ziway town, 163 km away from Addis Abeba, widely use cart as a means of transport. Market commodities, portable water and animals, among others too, are carried on carts. Passengers riding on carts have no protection from sunrays or rainwater. Since they stand while riding, it is tiresome. But still, it serves people.
