Ghana: All Nations University Touts Achievements

The President of the All Nations University (ANU), Rev. Dr. Samuel H. Donkor has noted that the university experienced God's mercies, kindness and goodness in great measure in the year 2013.

All Nations University became the first University in Sub-Saharan Africa to build and successfully launch an Educational Satellite, called CanSat. Members of the ISSLab, except the team leader, were all students at the time. ANU President, who was speaking at the end of year briefing of the achievements of the University, also said under the year in review, the ANU hosted the 2nd Space Science and Satellite Conference during which Professors and Researchers from Japan, the United States and South Africa presented various papers and also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Miyazaki Laboratory of Nihon University in Japan, while plans to build a Ground Station and a Cube Sat are in progress.
