Nigeria: Unlawful Sack - Court Rules On Bashir Gwandu's Suit Against Jonathan Today

Barring any last-minute changes, the National Industrial Court (NIC) in Abuja will today deliver its ruling in a suit by the former executive commissioner of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr Bashir Gwandu, against President Goodluck Jonathan, challenging the propriety of his removal.

The court had on October 23, 2013, after hearing the matter, stated that it would give its ruling on November 29, 2013, and on that day decided to postpone its verdict until December 13, 2013.
