FASHION lovers in Nairobi have a reason to celebrate. A new fashion store -- Store 66 -- opened towards the end of last year. The store aims to deliver to the consumer fashionable and elegant clothing that are in line with international trends.

Located at the ground floor of Lonrho House on Standard Street in Nairobi, Store 66 -- whose familiar relative is in Manhattan, US -- dresses top celebrities in the US and Europe, including Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o.

The store offers a wide range of exceptional products that include genuine leather handbags, shoes, belts, apparel and accessories from talented designers working for top and well-known European brands.

Petronila Njeri, the store's marketing and communications manager, says: "We believe that the highlight perspective of fashion is to encourage everyone be themselves as we are uniquely created so, and to choose what truly suits one's style, body shape and most important of all, one's budget."

Among a variety of labels selectively stocked in-house at the store include Germany's Drezztoimprezz, a fashion label worn by top celebrities in Europe and lately Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o, Italian label Blitz and Greek Label Yellow Plus, both of which will be exclusively targeting the plus size woman.

Others include French label Chrome for men with impeccable suits, unique shirts and latest Polka dot shirts for men and French label Deeluxe, a high-end casual wear for men featuring trendy jeans to smart colourful shirts. They also have colourful floral prints ideal for beach wear from French fashion label, Fifilies.
