THE Teachers' Union of Namibia (TUN) has lambasted the Ministry of Education for not investing enough resources in comprehensive teacher training programmes and for recruiting teachers outside the country.
"We are strongly urging the government to come up with comprehensive programmes on the new curriculum. The union will not accept the curriculum to be dumped on the teachers before they are properly introduced to it and later be blamed for whatever shortcomings are experienced," he said.
