South Africa: National Crime Intelligence Structure Reconfigured

Pretoria — After consultation with affected employees and other organised labour structures, the structure of the Crime Intelligence unit has changed, National Police Commissioner Riah Phiyega said on Thursday.

After careful consideration of the combined functioning of the Division Crime Intelligence and Protection & Security Services (CIPS), Phiyega announced that she has taken a decision to change and "purify this structure."
