One person was killed on Friday when a group of Muslim Brotherhood supporters clashed with the police in Bahaari area in Fayoum, medical sources said.

During the clashes, a man named Ahmed Abdel Aziz bled to death after he was shot in the thigh, said Ahmed Shoukri, undersecretary of the Health Ministry.

The National Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy, which backs deposed President Mohamed Mursi, has urged its supporters to rally on Friday in preparation for week-long demonstrations to commemorate the January Revolution's third anniversary.
