Angola: Luanda Cleaning Companies With New Payment Modality

Luanda - The Luanda cleaning companies will soon have a new payment modality, announced on Thursday the deputy governor of Luanda for the Technical Affairs, Agostinho da Silva.

Speaking to the press at the end of a regular meeting of the institution, led by the provincial governor of Luanda, Bento Sebastião Francisco Bento, the official said that henceforth the cleaning companies will be paid according to the extension of the area they clean.

He added that this system will be contrary to the previous method in which operators were paid according to the weight of garbage collected.

"With this strategy, we will reduce the financial costs and improve the level of cleanliness in the capital city of Angola", he said.

The meeting was attended by vice governors, provincial directors and municipal administrators.
