Liberia: Weary of Minority Rule

Expressing dissatisfaction over unfolding events in the country, a Bong County senator has said indigenous inhabitants who constitute significant portion of the population are weary of continual minority rule, saying that it was time the pendulum is reversed.

Senator Henry Yallah said a decision has been reached among indigenous lawmakers in the 53rd Legislature to constitutionally "grab" the Liberia presidency in the 2017 poll through what he referred to as regional solidarity.
