Tunisia: Armelle Lidou Expects EU to Increase Funding to Tunisia

Hammamet, — Funds allocated by the European Union under the neighborhood policy for the period 2014-2020 will be announced next March, Mrs Armelle Lidou, Head of the Cooperation Section of the European Commission in Tunisia, said Saturday at a lawyers' conference in Hammamet.

According to the European Union Neighbourhood Info Centre, the EU proposes to fund the Neighbourhood Policy to the tune of € 16.1 billion for the period 2014-2020, up 40% compared the period 2007-2013...
