Egypt: Minister - 10 Percent of GDP to Be Allocated for Health, Education and Scientific Research

Minister of Finance, Dr. Ahmed Galal said that the government would abide by the new constitutional principles regarding the expenditure in the State budget especially the financial allocations that aim at improving services for citizens topped by the minimum wage limits.

The Minister pointed out that the ministry would allocate 10% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for health, education and scientific research sectors according to the new constitution.
