Nigeria: Mu'azu to Be Inaugurated PDP Chairman Today

As exclusively reported by THISDAY, former Governor of Bauchi State, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu, who emerged as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), after a marathon meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the governors of the party last night, will be inaugurated today.

Confirming this, a PDP source said Mu'azu's inauguration would take place at 1 pm today during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party.

He said Mu'azu emerged under a consensus arrangement that was reached between the president, Vice-President Namadi Sambo, the governors and other key stakeholders of the party. More details to follow...
