Ethiopia: Ambassador Minelik Alemu Getahun Presents Credentials to the President of Romania

Ambassador Minelik Alemu Getahun, Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the UN at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland presented his letters of credence to President Traian Basescu of Romania on Wednesday last week (January 15).

Ethiopia and Romania first established a diplomatic relationship in 1957. Ambassador Minelik also presented copies of his credentials to Mihail Dobre, the Romanian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and held talks on bilateral and multilateral issues. Mr. Dobre recalled his recent visit to Ethiopia when he has met with Ambassador Berhane Gebre-Christos, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
