POLICE brutality against Muslims, unemployment, marginalisation and poverty lead youths to violent extremism, a forum on countering violent extremism has been told. Participants from all religious groups attended a forum at Eastleigh Fellowship Centre yesterday.
They were told that the emergence of criminal gangs, vigilantes, corruption and inter-tribal conflict in the country are driving many youths to extremism and should be countered.
