Kenya: Airtel Subscribers to Get 25 Per Cent Bonus Airtime

Airtel Kenya has announced an offer that will see its new prepaid customers enjoy up to 25% bonus airtime which can be used for both on-net calls and SMSes upon purchase of new SIM card.

In a statement, Shivan Bhargava, Airtel Kenya MD said: "The bonus applies automatically to all new prepaid customers immediately after loading air time on their newly purchased Airtel lines."

To benefit from the bonus, one needs to buy and register a new Airtel SIM card from any of its shops, dealers and agents and load airtime to get going. For example one loading airtime worth Kshs 100 will get an actual value of Ksh 125 airtime credit for use. Customers may dial *133*13# to check bonus airtime balance.

The 25 per cent airtime bonus is an addition to other existing offers including the Airtel Tosha and the 2bob per minute tariff for calls for customers making transactions on Airtel Money.
