Angola - PND to Promote Re-Qualification of Urban and Rural Centers

The promotion of re-qualification, rehabilitation and valuing of urban and rural centers, to allow the ordering of population, as well as boosting and interaction of space, are priority projects of the National Development Plan (PND) 2013/2017.

According to PND, which Angop had got access to, ptogramme includes also projects for the period under reference, the elaboration of instruments of territory ordering in municipal and provincial level, as well as the implementation of Territory and Urbanism Ordering Law and the elaboration of Provincial Territory Ordering Plan.

The PND aims at regulating the cartographic and cadastral activities and continue the updating process and elaboration of national cartography.

Boosting the implementation of Requalification Urban Programme and the Regularization of Land Reserve and secure the planning as well as control the use and occupy the soil of coastal zones are among other the measures of the Plan.
